In 2016, Thailand faced the highest temperatures over the longest duration in 65 years caused by heat wave, which was higher than 40 degree Celsius in many regions of Thailand and broke the record of the highest temperature from 44.3 degree Celsius to 44.6 degree Celsius on April 28, 2016, at Mea Hong Son province. Temperature rise in Thailand not only affect to the highest demand of electricity use but also increase impacts of health problems such as Food-borne illness and Heatwave drowning (Asian Correspondent Staff, 2016).
