The pilot residential houses which powered by 100% clean energy from solar-hydrogen hybrid system officially opened in Chiang Mai, Thailand. The project implemented the micro-grid concept with central energy storage facility. The rooftop solar system, with 384.2 kWh generating capacity, are the main source of energy. The houses are ‘Energy-plus-house’. The surplus electricity uses in the hydrogen electrolyser to separate the Hydrogen and kept in the storage. Furthermore, the houses integrated the passive energy design which, in return, minimizes the energy consumption.
